Dr. Harry D. Griffith
Harry Griffith was a superintendent of five public school districts in both Texas and Illinois for 30 years. A past teacher and campus administrator, he was the school superintendent of Lake Forest School District schools between 1994 and 2012. In 1992, he was selected as one of the nation’s top 50 superintendents and named a Congressional Fellow to the Congress of Exemplary Superintendents.
Harry has served on the board of the Lake Forest Bank & Trust for 14 years. He earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign, and both a master’s degree in management and a doctorate in philosophy from The University of Texas at Austin.
